Support the Program

There are many ways that you can get involved with the Program. Support can take the form of monetary donations which will help fund outstanding speakers and events. Gifts of resources such as books and journals for the Dr. Jean Gould Bryant Library are beneficial to our students as they embark on their own research. Less demanding support could take the form of participating in our sponsored events. We appreciate all support, no matter what its form.

Gift by Check:

Gifts by check can be made out to the F.S.U. Women's Studies Program, with the memo stating "foundation account".  Checks can be mailed to:

The Women's Studies Program
Florida State University
P.O. Box 306-1269

Tallahassee, FL 32306-1269

Gift of Resources:

If you choose to support the Program through donations to our Library, there are three ways in which you can do this . . . .

  1. Bring your donation by the office. We would love to see you and thank you personally for your gift.
  2. If you are not available to come to campus, then it might be easier for you if we pick up your donation from you. For more information, contact us at (850) 644-9514 or womenstudies@psy.fsu.edu to arrange a time that would be convenient for us to stop by and pick up your gift.
  3. You could also mail your donation to the address listed above. Depending on the amount of material you have to give, this might prove to be a costly means of donating. However, if you are strained for time and are unavailable locally, then this might be the most efficient way for you.

Gift of Participation:

While our events and speakers are normally directed to students on campus, we love to have the input and active involvement from members of the community. If you are interested in the Women's Studies Program and would like to become a member of our mailing list, please drop us an e-mail at womenstudies@psy.fsu.edu and we'll keep you updated about all of our events and activities.

By whatever means you decide to support the Florida State University Women's Studies Program, we truly do appreciate it. Our Program is growing in leaps and bounds and there is so much that we would like to do. With the support of the community and our advocates, we can accomplish many of our goals and dreams.

Thank you!!
